Most Americans know very little about the Arab world and its past and current achievements. They mistakenly link Arabs to stereotyped images – as terrorists and individuals who participate in fraudulent activities and hostile people who do not like Americans. This became very apparent and real during the unfortunate and recent negative events after 9/11 and the war in Iraq. Indeed, this fallout significantly harmed the relationships between the U.S. and the Arab world which has had a negative effect on peace, stability and businesses around the world. While we believe that these negative images and perceptions are painstakingly untrue, we are dedicated to educate Americans at all levels about the Arab world and communicating and promoting the true image of Arabs.
To help bridge the United States and Arab nations, Arabia Felix will serve as a powerful tool in educating individuals, |
tourists, students, academics, researchers, business leaders, Federal, state and local officials and other interested individuals who would like to learn more about the Arab world.
By turning every single page of Arabia Felix, you will learn something new and different about the Arab world, it’s past and present.
